Simple Present — Negative Sentences

Learn to use simple Present — Negative Sentences to build clearer English sentences.

Let’s understand it

Use do not or does not before the base verb to make an ordinary action-verb sentence negative.

The building rule

I/you/we/they + do not + V1. He/she/it/singular noun + does not + V1.

See it in a sentence

I do not play cricket.

Rahul does not play cricket.

Remember this

DOES comes → V5 goes → use V1.
