Present Continuous — Sentences and Questions

Positive sentences

She is reading a book now.

Negative sentences

She is not reading a newspaper.

Yes / No questions

Is she reading a book?

WH questions

What is Dad doing? Where are they going? Why is she crying?

Question reminder

Move the first helping verb before the subject. In Simple Past, use did + subject + V1. Subject questions such as “Who arrived?” have their own pattern.
