Personal Pronouns

Learn to use personal Pronouns to build clearer English sentences.

Let’s understand it

Personal pronouns replace names of people or things.

The building rule

Choose a pronoun that clearly refers to a noun.

See it in a sentence

Maya is here. She smiles.

Write the pronoun I with a capital

I is always capitalized, including inside a sentence: Riya and I are friends.
Write a sentence about yourself and another person, then check every I.

Use this rule: write and correct

Try first. Hints become more specific after each attempt. Your attempts and corrections are saved with your existing writing progress.
